Our Vision:

Nri Charity Organization is one of leading non-profit and tax-exempt organization committed to addressing Nigeria development and policy issues by working in partnership with Nigeria people and other non-governmental organizations to build sustainable, healthy and productive communities.

Our History:

The Nri Charity Organization (NCO) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit tax exempt charitable organization under the United States Internal Revenue Service Code 501 (C) (3). The organization was established in 2008 to work within the public policy environment, provide a strong support infrastructure to promote community development, tackle deprivation, and build lasting and sustainable capacity for self-reliance within Nigeria communities. We support and partner with other international non-profit organizations, such as Nri Progress Union-USA, ASA-USA, American Red Cross, Catholic Charities, and Africa Aid, etc. with cash and material donations for the successful execution of their infrastructural projects.

Our vision, mandate, philosophical outlook, values and work programs are firmly grounded on the idea that everyone has the right, individually or in association with others, to promote a better society, taking such developmental actions as are necessitated by the needs of the society in the quest to fulfill the universal duty to improve the welfare of the most vulnerable among mankind. All donations made in support of our programs are 100 percent tax deductible under United States Internal Revenue Service 501 (C) (3).

Our organization was founded by the good people of Nri town in Anambra state, Nigeria and our friends in United States with the urgent need to move the Nigeria communities forward in summer of 2008 in the beautiful town of Dallas, Texas. Our organization has grown to become a leader in aid to Nigeria community - pioneering various types of self-help development programs and noted for its close, collegial relationships with the people and leaders of Nigeria. Nri Charity Organization’s philosophy has always been, "Nigeria development problems must be solved by Nigerias”.
